Shawnee Smith (5' 3") is an American actor and actress in the film and television industries. Smith's most famous roles are in the roles of Amanda Young and Linda on the CBS sitcom Becker. Smith was a founding member of the Fydolla's ho the heavy metal group who toured throughout all of the United States as well as the United Kingdom. Smith also formed Smith & Pyle along with Missi Pyle to form an American country group called. Shawnee Smith was born in Orangeburg South Carolina the second daughter of Patricia who was an oncology nurse as well as Jim Smith a financial planner and an ex- US Air Force pilot. When she left South Carolina, her family relocated to Van Nuys California. Her mother had remarried eight years after her divorce. She was a student at Ranchito Avenue Elementary School in Panorama City Los Angeles and Madison Jr. High in North Hollywood. She was a graduate of North Hollywood High School, North Hollywood California in 1987. As part of the songwriting team of Jack Dolgen & Adam Schlesinger Rachel was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award on April 19, 2019 for Outstanding Original Music & lyrics for Antidepressants Are So Not a Big Deal. Rachel is set to perform with Death Let Me Do My Special during the summer and spring of 2023. In 2019, Rachel sold out Radio City Music Hall in her show Crazy Ex-Girlfriend: Live as part of a multi-show tour. The same year, she was a part of What am I going to do with my life? The tour included a week-long residency at Just For Laughs.
